2. General information on data processing
Unless otherwise stated below, providing your personal data is neither legally nor contractually required, nor necessary for entering into a contract. You are not obliged to provide the data. Failure to provide it has no consequences, unless stated otherwise in the descriptions of the following processing activities. "Personal data" means any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person.
3. Server log files
You can visit our website without providing any personal information. Usage data is transmitted by your internet browser and stored in log files (server log files) with every access to our website. This stored data includes, for example, the name of the page accessed, the date and time of access, the amount of data transferred, and the requesting provider. This data is used exclusively to ensure smooth operation of our website and to improve our offering. It is not possible to assign this data to a specific person. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in the secure operation of the website).
4. Contact form
If you contact us via the contact form on this website, your details (name, email address, role, and your message) as well as technical metadata (IP address, timestamp) are stored in order to process your inquiry and for any follow-up questions. The data is transmitted exclusively by email and is not stored in a database. Your data will not be passed on to third parties without your explicit consent.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation of a contract) or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in responding to your inquiry).
5. Professionals area (access request and login)
The Professionals area of this website is open exclusively to qualified business customers. To request access, you must complete an application form. The data collected in this process (name, email address, phone number, practice/institution, profession, qualification details, request) is stored in a database on our server and reviewed manually by us. In addition, technical metadata (IP address, time of request, login attempts) is processed to prevent misuse.
Once your access has been activated, we use a technically necessary session cookie that exclusively manages your login. This cookie does not contain any personal information and is deleted upon logout or, at the latest, when the browser is closed.
The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR (initiation and performance of a contractual relationship with business customers) as well as Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest in security and misuse prevention in the protected area). Data is not shared with third parties.
6. Third-party services used
This website does not use any third-party tracking, analytics, or marketing services (no Google Analytics, no Meta Pixel, no advertising cookies). Fonts are served locally from our own server — no transmission of your IP address to font providers such as Google Fonts takes place.
7. Rights of the data subject
Where the legal requirements are met, you have the following rights under Articles 15 to 20 GDPR: the right to information, rectification, erasure, and restriction of processing, as well as the right to data portability. In addition, pursuant to Art. 21(1) GDPR, you have the right to object to processing based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, as well as to processing for the purposes of direct marketing.
